My StandPro Shows "An Unexpected Error Occurred While Connecting"

If your StandPro shows an “Unexpected Error While Connecting” message, it means the device is having trouble communicating with Nizam’s servers. This is almost always caused by a local Internet network issue.

Common Causes

  • Weak or unstable Wi-Fi connection
  • Incorrect Wi-Fi credentials
  • Temporary local internet outage

How to Fix It

  1. Restart the device by powering it off and back on.
  2. Check Wi-Fi connection through settings page (accessed by pressing power button 6x). Ensure the stand is connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network; if necessary, forget the current network and reconnect.
  3. Verify that other devices on the same Wi-Fi network can access the internet.

Why This Matters

The Nizam stand processes all donations securely through Stripe, which requires an active internet connection. Without a stable connection, the device cannot complete transactions.

If this error continues even with a strong Wi-Fi signal, please reach out to Nizam Customer Support (salaam@nizam.co) for further help.
