StandPro Device Setup

Each Nizam StandPro device arrives ready for easy assembly and setup. We complete the registration process in-house, meaning setup takes just a few minutes and requires no technical expertise. Follow the steps below to get your StandPro up and running smoothly.

What’s in the Box

Your Nizam package includes three main components:

  • Base – The mobile base that supports the device.
  • Tablet – The touchscreen interface donors will interact with.
  • Rod – Connects the stand and tablet securely.

You’ll also find a screwdriver and screws inside the box to help with assembly.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Attach the Rod to the Stand:

With the wheels facing down, the base has a slot for the rod to insert into. Line up the rod with the slot and use the included screwdriver and screws to secure the rod to the base.

  2. Mount the Tablet:

Align the tablet bracket with the top of the rod, which has an interface to slot into the bracket. Fasten it using the provided screws.

  3. Check for Stability:

Ensure all connections are tight so the stand feels sturdy and stable before powering on.

Powering On Your Device

  1. Plug It In:

Connect the charging cable to your device. It should arrive partially charged, but always plug it in during setup.

  2. Locate the Buttons:

There are two buttons on the back — a Power button and an On button. The Power button controls power flow to the overall device, similar to shutting down or booting up a laptop. The On button controls screen display.

  3. Start the Device:

Hold the Power button for 5 seconds. Then hold the On button for 3 seconds.

  4. Pull up the Boot Screen:

You’ll see the Nizam logo appear during startup. The first boot may take a few minutes before reaching the home screen.

Connecting to Wi-Fi

By default, Nizam devices ship with Wi-Fi disabled. You may see an error screen on first bootup related to Wi-fi disconnection. To connect:

  1. Press the On button six times in quick succession.
  2. Select “Add Network.”
  3. Enter your Wi-Fi credentials and choose “Try Again” if the connection fails the first time.

Once connected, the device will remember your network for future sessions.

Reader and Updates

Each StandPro device includes a pre-attached Stripe reader. Stripe occasionally sends small automatic updates to the reader — these install in the background and usually take less than a minute. When an update has been sent, your StandPro may take longer than usual to boot up.

💡 Note: Before setting up your physical device, make sure your Nizam account and StandPro unit have been registered online. This ensures the tablet connects properly to your organization’s dashboard.

Final Checks

  • Confirm that the Nizam home screen appears.
  • Tap to test donation flow (you can cancel before completing payment).
  • Make sure the device is connected to your Wi-Fi network and power source.

Your Nizam StandPro is now ready for use. You can begin accepting donations immediately.
